About Us
Laurier Badminton Club (LBC) is currently the officially sanctioned badminton club at Wilfrid Laurier University located in Waterloo, Ontario, focused on providing students recreational badminton and coaching to all the members. Established in September 2012, we are currently the largest on-campus athletics club with over 100 supporting members.
Throughout the school year, LBC holds weekly badminton sessions, as well as many events to unite the student community. Events hosted by LBC include socials, semi-annual tournaments, and much more. Members are able to meet other students with a similar interest in the sport while improving their skills by learning from their peers in friendly competition. The skill levels of the members range from very experienced to those who have never played before.
